Abstract

That is in the study of observations about the role of political parties (Political Parties) to civil society in the country of Indonesia. Political parties in Indonesia greatly color the development of democracy in Indonesia. This is very easy to understand, because political parties are a picture of the face of the role of the people in national political regulations or in other words a reflection of the level of political participation of the people. In countries that embrace democracy such as Indonesia, the idea of popular participation has an ideological basis that the people have the right determine public policy. That political party has always been synonymous with power. This means that if you want to achieve power, yoau need tools to achieve this goal through political parties. Political parties as a container of society in a form of community collectivity in politics through organizational forms that have structure and leadership. Therefore, political parties are indispensable in the democratic system as a form of institutionalization of democracy. The role of political parties in this writing as a tool to educate the people of Indonesia in doing good with state facilities by channeling it as the rules and authority given. Political parties as parties that are part of the Indonesian democratic process should not be eliminated because it has become the basis of the state or the written constitution of the state.
