Khatulistiwa: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan. Published by the editorial board of the tarbiyah faculty journal. This journal is published every six months, namely in April and Agustus. This journal contains studies on education science. The editors invite academics, lecturers, and researchers to contribute to this journal. Articles are authentic works and have not been published in other scientific magazines or anthologies. Articles are written in Indonesian and standard English with 1.5 cm spacing on A4 paper. The length of the article is 10-15 pages or 7000 to 9000 words. Articles must be submitted at least one month before the journal is published. Include an abstract in English with a maximum of 200 words; in each abstract followed by keywords.

Scope and Topics

Khatulistiwa: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan focuses on comprehensive, critical, and empirical studies in the field of education. We invite interdisciplinary studies that enrich educational discourse. The scope and topics accepted include, but are not limited to:

• Pedagogy and Learning Methodology (Innovation in teaching strategies, models, and methods)

• Curriculum Development (Design, implementation, and evaluation of educational curricula)

• Islamic Education / Tarbiyah Studies (Religious education, Islamic boarding schools/pesantren, and the integration of Islamic values)

• Educational Evaluation and Assessment (Cognitive, affective, psychomotor measurements, and assessment instruments)

• Educational Technology and Innovation (Utilization of digital media, e-learning, and information technology in education)

• Educational Management and Leadership (Administration, policy, and governance of educational institutions)

• Sociology and Psychology of Education (Dynamics of social interactions, student development, and learning environments)

Publication Frequency

Khatulistiwa: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan is published periodically with 2 (two) issues per year (biannually). This journal is published in the following months:

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Khatulistiwa: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan will undergo a rigorous Peer Review process to ensure publication quality, involving the following stages:

1. Initial Desk Review: The editor will conduct an initial check to ensure the article aligns with the journal's Focus and Scope. The editor will also verify compliance with writing guidelines (written in standard Indonesian or English, 1.5 spacing on A4 paper, length of 10-15 pages or 7,000-9,000 words, and includes an English abstract of a maximum of 200 words followed by keywords). Plagiarism checks (similarity checks) will also be conducted at this stage.

2. Blind Peer Review: Authentic articles that pass the initial review will be sent to at least 1-2 Peer Reviewers who are experts in the field of education. The review is conducted as a Blind Review to ensure objective and unbiased evaluation.

3. Assessment Criteria: Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on its originality (authentic work that has never been published in other scientific magazines or anthologies), the methodology used, analytical depth, and its overall contribution to educational literature.

4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor will make the final decision: Accept Submission, Revisions Required, or Decline Submission.

The mission of Khatulistiwa: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan is to provide a prestigious scientific publication platform for academics, lecturers, and researchers to disseminate authentic studies and research in the field of education. Managed by the Tarbiyah Faculty Journal Editors Forum, this journal is committed to fostering the development of educational theories, practices, and policies through the dissemination of innovative, critical, and previously unpublished ideas.
